One of the most popular science magazines in Brazil invited us to create an infographic to fill up the article «How does the breathalyzer works?» which features the polemic brazilian Driver’s Dry Law. Illustration based on the device’s detailed function.

Artwork created for this colorful Argentinian magazine in its 5th edition. The illustration was based on the magazine’s main subject, «Protest!». We took several characters to be part of an unusual and funny riot. Check their site.

Graphic design, chapters and cover illustration for «A Garota quase Perfeita» (The Nearly Perfect Girl in portuguese), for Melhoramentos Publishing. We created a cover where the girl and her fairy fill her bedroom. The grid and typography were specially picked for a children’s book. The chapters’ illustrations show some of the important situations experienced by the girl.

Vinyl Toy designed for a Brazilian mall Valentine’s Day campaign. We took inspiration from our home city and boy scouts. In Brazil, the youngest boy scouts are called «Lobinho» (Little Wolf). We called our buddy Binho. The character is based on the Guara wolf, a wild animal related to the city folklore.

Monoblock

Vik and Pablo from Monoblock invited us to design a cover for their forthcoming notebook series. We are really proud to be part of such a good project. Mopa designed character by character, each one of the words in the client’s slogan, «Live the Love. Happy Together». We also worked on a happy and lovely environment for the whole notebook cover. Not the Chilli Peppers, but a great party. Mopa designed the flyer to promote one of the best Brazilian fever summer parties. New Rave and Electro Rock all night long. Oh, and milk for the children.

Mopa was asked to design a cover for a juvenile book inspired by «A Midsummer Night’s Dream» by Shakespeare. Artwork done for «Cenas de uma Noite de Verão» (A Midsummer Nights’s Scenes in portuguese) by Gerlis Zillgens, where youngsters fall in love while rehearsing the original play.

Bobby Solomon invited us to be part of his Desktop Wallpaper Project. He owns Kitsune Noir, a blog for design and every-single-thing related to it. The project features a bunch of great people and we felt very honored to be part of it. We designed a wallpaper to make you smile while working and remember you are at work, so ambiguous… What surprise to know he keeps iPhone and PSP wallpaper formats, as well as the basic row of monitor options. Staying Alive

Artwork designed for Staying Alive Foundation’s website. Staying Alive is a world wide HIV mass media awareness and prevention campaign. Project was based on the campaign’s aim which is to reduce HIV infections among young people globally and to voice solidarity among the ills. T-shirts and caps designed for Fiat Winter 2008 line, curated by SPFW production. The project is inspired by broken futuristic predictions of the past. We mixed a lot of childhood memories from 80′s cartoons to cool music. We brought the concept we called «Il Mondo di Domani» (Tomorrow’s world in Italian) where we figured out how important are those predictions as they improve our imagination through all these years of innovative thinking in several fields of knowledge.
